Building a new chart

The Chart Builder page provides a quick description of your selected data source or column. This helps you understand the kinds of results you can expect when beginning your search.

To Build a New Chart:

  1. Within the Subsplash Dashboard, select Trends in the left navigation bar

  2. Select Charts

  3. Click the blue + Create Chart button in the upper right corner

  4. Add columns by typing in the search bar or by selecting them in the Data panel. The columns listed in the left panel are grouped together by data sources for discoverability and ease of access. You can also add multiple columns by clicking each column to select it, and then clicking + Add Columns.

  5. Select Enter on your keyboard or select Go to the right of the search bar. As you add items to or remove them from the search bar, press Enter or Go to ensure that Trends updates your search.

Trends provides your chart with an automatic title based on your search columns and displays the results as either a table or a chart, depending on the best representation. You can change the view to fit your needs.
