Group Attendance Analytics is available to organizations with the Groups & Messaging feature enabled.
Navigate to Group Attendance Analytics
To access Group Attendance Analytics:
Log in to your Subsplash Dashboard.
Navigate to Groups in the left-hand navigation.
Select Analytics from the left sidebar.
Analytics data is refreshed nightly. The date shown in the top-right corner of the page (e.g., "Generated on September 27, 2025 at 11:00pm") reflects when the data was last updated, so the numbers displayed represent attendance through the previous day
Understanding your analytics
The Analytics page displays attendance data in two main areas: a summary bar at the top and a detailed event list below.
Summary stats
At a glance, you'll see three key metrics for the selected date range:
Total attendance: The combined number of members and guests who attended events across all groups.
Guests: The total number of guests recorded across all group events.
Groups: The number of groups that recorded attendance during the selected period.
Attendance chart
The bar chart displays attendance over time, broken down by group. Each group is represented by a distinct color, making it easy to compare engagement across your different groups side by side. You can toggle between Day and Month views to see attendance trends at different levels of detail.
Event list
Below the chart, you'll find a detailed list of individual group events. Each row shows:
Event name and date/time
Group name
Members attended
Guests
Total attendance
If any members are marked as missed, that count will be displayed in red next to the members total (e.g., 3 missed) so you can quickly spot lower-attendance events.
Customize your view
You can adjust what's displayed on the Analytics page using the filters at the top of the chart:
Date range: Click the date range selector to adjust the time period you're viewing.
Groups filter: Use the Groups dropdown to narrow the data to specific groups and Group Types.
Day/Month toggle: Switch between a daily and monthly view of the attendance chart.
How attendance is recorded
Attendance is taken by group managers (i.e., group leaders) directly within the group event on the Subsplash mobile app or web messaging interface. Managers can mark attendance during or after an event.
For groups with fewer than 50 members, managers can mark individual members as attended or missed. For groups with 50 or more members, managers report a total headcount instead.
Once attendance is submitted by a group manager, it will appear in the Analytics page after the nightly data refresh.
