Navigate to your Analytics page
You can access Analytics on the Dashboard homepage by clicking any of your analytics chart titles:
Or by heading to your analytics page.
Plays, downloads, launches, and impressions:
Media Plays represent the number of times a media item has been played in the app, Web App, or embedded Media items on your website. A play is counted when a user clicks the Play button. Each chapter of the Audio Bible listened to through the app will also count as a Play.
Even if a user only listens to a portion of a media item, this will still be counted as a play.
App Downloads represent the number of times your app has been downloaded from an app store onto a unique device.
App Launches represent the number of times your app has been opened on a device.
App Impressions represent the number of times a user has accessed individual pages in the app.
Customize your view
You can customize the analytics view with tools like date range selection, as well as filters for your data, broken down by week, month, or year.
Export your data
You can export a CSV file of the data you’re viewing for record-keeping or analysis elsewhere. To export, just click the blue Export CSV button at the bottom of your analytics page to download the spreadsheet.
Analytics for The Church App
Analytics for your users on The Church App will appear in a separate widget below the rest of your analytics on your dashboard's Home page. This will tell you how many people have set your app as Home in The Church App, and how many users have favorited your app.
Analytics FAQs
Does my podcast collect analytics?
No, our system does not currently record podcast analytics--all analytics are collected through the use of the app and Web App. There is currently no timeline for when podcast analytics might become available, but this has been added to our system as a feature request.
Can I track analytics on individual users on my app?
No, because we don't track or reveal data about users on an individual basis. However, we are working on a system that lets your users log into the app with a specific user account, which is the foundation for building out more robust analytics in the future.
How often do analytics refresh or update?
Whether you're viewing your main analytics overview page or your individual stats for your on-demand media items, all your dashboard analytics will update every few hours. In some cases, it may take longer depending on the demand on our servers.
Heavy traffic days such as Sundays especially may be delayed. For example, while you might see an update within an hour or two on a normal weekday, there may possibly be only 1 or 2 refreshes throughout the day on a Sunday.
