Whether you are doing a true live stream or a simulated live stream, linking your Subsplash Live streams to your YouTube channel is a great way to reach even further while engaging your audience.

Connect to your YouTube channel

  1. Head to the Media Settings section of your Dashboard, you can find this by going to Media > Settings

  2. Scroll to the bottom to see your syndication platforms.

  3. Click "Connect Youtube", this will redirect you to YouTube where you will want to sign in with the appropriate Google account then select your YouTube channel and accept the popup windows. If it does not show you your YouTube channel with its exact channel name then you are in the wrong account.

  4. You will then see back in your settings you have connected to your YouTube channel

Schedule your streams to go to YouTube

  1. Create or edit an existing live stream

  2. Toggle the YouTube Syndication option and here you can select whether you want it to be "Public" or "Unlisted"

    1. "Public" will make it available at the time of scheduling

    2. "Unlisted" will keep it private for you to make public at a later time

  3. You may get a pop-up message saying you need to enable YouTube Live within your YouTube settings, you can do this here.

    1. Note: this can take up to 24 hours to enable so you can save the live media item and return to toggle the Syndication.

  4. Finish by scheduling and publishing your live stream.
