If you're looking for a way to track your website's traffic (number of visitors, active visitors on the site, etc.), this can be done by integrating Google Analytics into your website. If you aren't familiar with Google Analytics, it is a very powerful service that is completely free to use. Once you've set up Analytics with your SnapPages site, you will be able to see who is visiting your site (age, gender, location, etc.), how long they are on each page, which links they click, and so much more.
Setting up Google Analytics
To get started, visit the Google Analytics website. If you already have a Google account that you'd like to use, click 'Sign In'. If you do not have a Google account, click 'Sign Up'. Once you're logged into Google Analytics, you'll be asked to create a new Analytics account for your website (screenshot below).

Once you've created your account, then you'll select what platform you'll want to collect data on. Select 'Website'
β
From here, you'll be taken to a page that will require you to set up a data stream. Add your website URL to the appropriate field, then name your Data Stream. You can name it something simple like the name of your website or simply "My Website".
After clicking "Create Stream", select the "View Tag Instructions to get the Global site tag.
Select "Install Manually" and you'll find the code for your Google Tag.
Once you've copied the tag code, log into your SnapPages website and click the 'Settings' tab. From there, click 'Code' and paste the copied code into the 'Header Code' section (shown below). After adding the code, be sure to click 'Save Settings' in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
β
That's it! Your site should be verified in Analytics within 48 hours (it takes a little while for Google to start compiling the data). If you have any issues getting your site verified, please don't hesitate to let our support team know.
