Each site is going to have a pre-generated media page that has this icon next to it in your Pages list:
This pre-built page has special properties that will allow for your media items to each have their own unique URL. This is a huge benefit for your website's SEO (Search Engine Optimization). At its standard setting, all of the media that you upload to your Subsplash Dashboard will be displayed here.
Media Settings
Under Settings, you'll be able to modify what sections can be included within your media page.
You'll also be able to change the media source the media page is pulling from.
Restoring The Media Page
If you deleted the page, you can restore the page:
Select "Pages" from your Snappages Dashboard to open your Pages list.
Scroll down beneath the "Drafts" section and select the "Archived Pages" option.
(If you do not see a deleted pages icon, that means you have not deleted any pages.)
Locate and select the deleted Media Page and select "Restore"
How to re-name This Page
Each page name can only be used for one page, so if you wish for your custom page to be titled "Media", then you will need to rename the default page. Select the Media Page -> Select options (on the upper right-hand corner) and rename the page. This will allow you to use the name "Media" on any other page. You cannot have two pages/folders with the same name.
Creating a Custom Media Page
If you wish to create a new page for your media, you can still pull in any of your media by using the Subsplash Media Blocks.
You will still reap the benefits of the SEO boost for your media while having more control over the look of the page.
If you choose to build your own custom media page instead of using this one, leave this page listed under Online in the Pages menu. If this default media page is put under Drafts or Archived, it will cause media connection issues.
