Giving prompts are a great way to engage your audience during a live stream, it is a way to invite your viewers to participate in worship through giving. The prompt is clean and minimal so they can continue to watch the stream even while it is active or even once clicking on the prompt to give.
Giving prompts sent during a live stream will only appear on the Subsplash Platform (Apps, Snappages, Embeds), they will not show on Facebook or YouTube.
To preface, this will only work in conjunction with Subsplash Giving and if your app is on version 5.10 or higher. Are you finding yourself trying to use the feature but you are unable to? Reach out to us using our Contact Us options and we can get you sorted!
These prompts are designed to be created in the moment and not scheduled beforehand so you will need hands within the dashboard to send out the prompt. These prompts will not carry over into the On-Demand state of the item nor can the prompt be used in Simulated Live Items.
Using Subsplash Giving Prompts:
Open up your live page in your dashboard and remember you will need to be live streaming in order for this to work so schedule an item or if you have an item that is upcoming, come back to this article once you are live!
Next, go ahead and select the Live Stream that is "live" and in the display window you will see the "Add a prompt" button
Once pressed you will have the option to choose between two presets. One gives some donation amount shortcuts or the ability to choose "Other" and the second option will just take the user to your giving page and they can enter the amount they please.
For now, you cannot adjust the preset giving amounts.
Lastly, press the "Set Live Now" option and within 15-20 seconds, the prompt will appear within the player on our platform.
