Introducing our latest addition to SnapPages: Event blocks now have full monthly and weekly calendar layouts in addition to the standard list format!
How to Use the New Layouts
The new events display formats can easily be added to a page by simply dragging and dropping a new event block onto a page within the SnapPages editor. As soon as you place the block in the desired location, it will pop up in a monthly calendar layout and will perform as a master calendar, displaying events from every Calendar in your Subsplash dashboard. Each event will be displayed in the color of its corresponding calendar.
If you want to display the events from only one calendar, no problem! Just turn off the "Show All Events" option. A new modal will pop up asking you to choose a calendar.
Calendar Key
By default, there will be a Calendar Key located to the left of the block on the published page. This Key will show the designated color of each of your Subsplahs calendars, informing the users as to the association of each event. You can choose to toggle off the Calendar Key as well.
Default View
Users will be able to adjust which view they see the events in by selecting one of the icons at the top right of the block, but you can choose the "Default View" that users will see when the page first loads.
List View Height
With this setting, you can designate how many events will display any time the user is seeing the List view. You can limit it to as low as 4 or as hight as 10 events!
Since a full monthly or weekly calendar would look a bit squished on a small mobile phone screen, the Events block will automatically swap to the List view anytime that the page is viewed on a mobile device!
