In this article we will learn page management, navigation of the page management, differences between online and draft lists, and creating new pages for your site.

Adding Pages

Adding Pages is done through the Page Menu of SnapPages.

  1. On the SnapPages landing page, select Pages

  2. On the upper-right-hand corner select "Create Page"

  3. Choose between adding a new Page, Link, or Folder.

Pages are going to be the standard SnapPages page, which is what a site will predominantly consist of. To get one started, select Page and then give it a name. Just like that, a new page will be created in your draft folder!

Links will direct viewers out of the current website to another website. Perhaps there’s an enjoyable blog or an online signup form you would like to use; simply, select Link and add the corresponding URL.

Folders are a great way of organizing your pages. When a folder is placed in the Navigation area, the folder will act as a drop-down menu. When hovered over the

contents will appear. Remember, links and pages can be used inside a folder!

Page Organization

When it comes to managing your Pages on your site there are three different lists they can be in. These lists consist of Navigation, Online, and Drafts.

You can move the pages freely by dragging and dropping the pages to the appropriate list. Here is a breakdown of what each list consists of:

  • Navigation Pages will be all the pages within your header. Use this to house all the main pages of your site.

  • Online Pages are going to hold all your pages that are live on your website and can only be accessed via a link. You can share the link or reference the link throughout your site. (You can link to these pages using the link option on certain blocks.)

  • Drafts Pages would hold all the pages that are not published. Yellow pages are an indicator of pages with unpublished changes. When you publish your draft pages, they will automatically move to your Online list.

All archive pages will be available under the draft pages. Archive pages can be restored and used throughout your site.

Editing, Duplicating, and Archiving Pages

To edit a page, duplicate, or archive, you'll select the three dots next to the page's name.
This will bring up the page's menu and you'll be able to modify the settings of the page.

To access additional page options (i.e. renaming, individual page SEO, custom code, revision control) select the desired page and click Options on the Page Menu.
