Line charts are effective for visually representing trends across periods of time. Similar to column charts, the line chart is one of the most fundamental and versatile visualizations available in Trends AI, and the system frequently selects it as the default visual display for your data.
Line charts illustrate your data as a sequence of points connected by straight line segments. The system automatically orders these measurement points based on the values along the x-axis.
Your Chart Builder query must include at least one attribute and one measure to generate a line chart.
If your query involves multiple attributes, you have the option to slice with color in the configuration panel to segment the line chart by the second attribute, creating multiple lines for comparison.
