This chart type is ideal when you need to compare two different measures against the same category. To create a line column chart, your search requires at least one attribute and two distinct measures.

Line column charts display one measure as a column and the other as a line. By default, each of these measures is plotted on its own y-axis, allowing you to see trends and comparisons even if the scales of the two measures are significantly different.

If you prefer to see both measures on the same scale, you can enable a shared y-axis. Simply click the dropdown menu icon next to the y-axis label and select Group for both measures.
