Group Finder is a page designed to highlight all of your public Groups so that your members can find and join groups that interest them. From the Group Finder page, members can perform the following actions:
Search for groups (searching for the title or description of a Group)
Filter by Group Type
View the Group details
Title
Description
Number of Members
Managers
Join a Group or request to join a Group
How to promote Group Finder in your app
By default Group Finder can be found in your Messaging section of the app, just tap on the icon in the top menu bar then select "Discover".
If you would like to make Group Finder more discoverable on your app, simply copy the URL from your Group Finder page and add it as an App Link item!
How to embed the Group Finder page within a website
Your website can be one of the best places to send members who are interested in joining a group. Follow these steps to embed your Group Finder on your website:
Navigate to your Subsplash App Dashboard.
Select Web > Embeds.
Select "Preview Embed" under the Group Finder embed.
Copy your embed code by selecting "Copy" in the embed panel found to your right.
Within your website builder, look for a place to provide "custom code" or "HTML".
Simply paste your copied embed code, publish your changes, and you're good to go!
How to promote Groups using a link or QR code
When inviting others to your group, you might want to invite a large group through a link or by sharing a QR code. This eliminates the need to individually invite each user and allows you to promote specific groups across different mediums.
If you would like to share a link to Group Finder simply copy the link below, replacing the word "APPKEY" with your app key:
If you would like to share a link to a specific Group try these steps:
Navigate to your Group Finder page
Log in to your Subsplash Dashboard
Select Groups > Web Messaging
Navigate to the "Groups" tab within Web Messaging
Search and find your group of choice
Note: Your group must be set to "Public" to find it on the Group Finder page. Once you copy the URL to the group details page, you can set your group to "Private" again.
Once you land on the details page for your group (see the image below), copy the URL from your browser and share it with those who might want to join this group.

How to add Group Finder to your Web App
With the Subsplash Web App, sharing your content is as easy as just a few clicks. To add Group Finder to your Web App, follow these steps:
Navigate to your Subsplash Dashboard.
Select Web > Web App
Set the "Group Finder" toggle to on (indicated with a blue switch).
You're good to go! Simply copy the URL to the right or select "View Page" to navigate to your Web App.
