FAQ

Can artwork be applied if the artwork on the media series hasn't been saved?

  • Yes, the artwork of a media series can be applied to all media items even if you just selected it and have not yet saved that artwork on the media series.

When applying all artwork does it also save the artwork on the media series?

  • Applying all artwork performs a special save of the newly applied artwork on the media items, but it does not save the media series. Please ensure you select Save in the media series to save the new artwork.

Is there any way to remove images from media items via the apply all?

  • No, applying all artwork is additive only. If you leave an image option (say, wide) empty, then only the square and banner artwork will be applied, leaving the wide images alone.

Is there any way to undo/roll back if I make a mistake?

  • Unfortunately, there is no way at this time to undo/rollback the artwork that has been applied. Applying all artwork is permanent.

Can I only apply all of one type (square, wide, banner) artwork?

  • When applying all artwork it will apply all of the currently selected artwork to all media items in the media series. If you would like to apply just the wide artwork, the only way to do this would be to remove the square and banner images from the media series before selecting Apply All. As noted above the media series artwork does not have to be saved when applying all so if you only want to apply wide artwork could technically remove the square and banner image, apply all artwork, and then refresh the page (you will be prompted to save at this time but should ignore this). After refreshing the page, the square and banner artwork will still be available on the media series because the removal of that artwork was not saved.
