The Web App is a beautiful website that displays your Subsplash media, app promo, and giving. It was built to give you a customized presentation of your content that works flawlessly with your website.

Setting up your Web App

  • You’ll be able to choose if your Media and App sections will be visible in the Web App navigations through the toggles shown next to each section’s Edit button.

  • Next, you can customize your custom URL, link in your Google Analytics ID, and add your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram profile links.

The Web App automatically sets a background color based on the dominant colors in the item's artwork.

Media

  1. From the main Web App page, select Edit for your media section.

  2. Select the name you want to appear in the navigation for your media page, as well as what content you would like to power your Web App.

  3. If you choose to toggle on the header, you can customize that further with a graphic or video, header title, subtitle, or a button!

Basic Info

  1. Choose your custom URL to set your Web App apart.

Toggling this option will add an unobtrusive watermark in the lower right corner of your videos. The watermark will be your silhouette logo set in your Branding page and will appear when video controls are hidden.

Footer

You can add your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram usernames/handles here to add links to your pages in the Web App footer.

Once you’ve completed your Web App customization, you can use the customized link in Basic Info to connect to your Web App from your website. If you’d prefer to embed your content inside your website, check out our article about Web Embeds!

Note! Our Web App and Web Embeds work with up-to-date versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
