Our goal at Subsplash is to equip every church to make more and better disciples through our platform and communication is a major part of the discipleship journey! We also know that change is hard.

Why is this important?

  • Other platforms are distracting, when your audience comes to connect with people and they end up seeing an ad, it’s not a delightful experience. We want them to be able to connect in a simple and easy way through messaging on your app/website.

  • Not everyone is on social media (or other platforms) and this allows everyone to engage and be connected in a simple and safe way.

  • It allows students to engage in a safe way through messaging.

  • Being on your app/website allows them to engage with your content in an impactful way and increases engagement.

Suggested Next Steps

  • Post in your current messaging platform:
“Hey Everyone, we are excited to announce that we are launching messaging within our mobile app! We think this will be amazing to help limit distractions and allow us to connect even more deeply. Click here: [insert link] (watch this video to your specific messaging link). See you there!”

  • You can download the Subsplash Messaging Media Kit here, which includes brandless and customizable video and image files for you to use in encouraging your church to join your online community

    • Promote it on your mobile app + web home page

    • Announce messaging during your next service or event

    • Put it in your bulletin and newsletter

    • Post messaging images/videos on your social media pages

  • Change is difficult, so be sure to set a few reminders for yourself over the next few weeks to continue to remind, post, and share to make sure that all your audience is switching over.

  • Make it a priority to engage with your audience in messaging with questions, polls, GIFS, etc. to get them familiar and excited to use the platform.

  • Encourage your audience to turn on notifications so they don’t miss anything important.
