Taking Attendance

To be able to take attendance, first it just has to be the day of the event that you would like to take attendance for. If you are using Check-in for that event, you also have to make sure that the check-in window has closed for the event you would like to take attendance for. Attendance cannot be taken before or during Check-in on an event, only after the Check-in has closed to keep from double counting any attenders.

You can edit an event's Check-in window by clicking into the event and then going to the Check-in tab and selecting "Check-in window".

To navigate to the Guest List page that allows you to take attendance, just click into the Attendance banner at the top of the screen on the event. Once the Check-in window is closed on the event, then you can click the "Edit attendance" button in the top right corner.

When you click Edit attendance, a box will open that allows you to plug in the number of attendance for that event. If you have multiple sessions on that event, then you will be able to separate the attendance count for each session. You are also able to click the "Reset" button for each session that will set the total attendance number back to the original number of Check-ins to that event.

If you are adding attendance to an event that has existing check-in data, then the attendance will be seen as the total attended number including the check-in. For example, if 7 people have checked into an event, and then the tallied attendance during the event was 10, you would go change the attendance to 10 and that would make the total attendance 10, with 7 of them still maintaining check-in data.
