You can quickly add a simple filter to your Chart directly from a column header when viewing the results as a table.

To add a filter using column headers, follow these steps:

  1. While viewing your Chart as a table, hover your cursor over the column header you wish to filter. Select the More menu icon.

  2. Select Filter.

  3. The filter options will appear in a modal window. The design of the modal changes depending on whether the column is an attribute (category) or a measure (numeric value).

    • The modal for an attribute appears like this:

    • The modal for a measure appears like this:

  4. For an attribute filter, select the specific values you want to either include or exclude. You also have the option to select all or clear all values. If there are a large number of values, you can use the filter search bar to quickly locate the ones you need. Note that the filter modal only displays the first 500 values. If the column contains more than 500 unique values, you must use the filter search bar to find additional values.

  5. For a measure filter, select Add a condition. Choose an appropriate operator, such as is greater than, and then enter a numeric value. For example, to view campuses grossing over $50k, select is greater than or equal to and enter 5000. To add an additional filter for that measure, select Add another.

  6. Select Done to apply the filter.
