You can easily add a simple filter to your Chart by interacting directly with the chart axis when your results are displayed as a visualization.
You can filter a chart by selecting the legend labels to either enable or disable the corresponding data values shown on the chart. Follow the steps below to apply a filter directly on the axis values:
Add a filter from the chart axes
While viewing your Chart as a visualization, click on the chart axis you wish to filter.
The filter modal that appears is tailored based on the data type of the column.
For an attribute filter, select the values you want to include or exclude. You can also quickly select or clear all values using select all or clear all. If there are many distinct values, use the filter search bar to quickly find the values you need. The filter modal only displays the first 500 values, so if the column has more than 500 unique values, you must use the filter search bar to access the rest.
For a measure filter, select Add a condition. Choose a comparative operator, such as
is greater than, and then enter a number. For example, to focus on campuses with lower giving, you could select is less than or equal to and enter 25000. To apply more than one filter condition to that measure, select Add another.Select Done to implement your filter.
