Pareto chart is a distinct type of chart that combines both column bars and a specialized line chart to display information.

The column bars represent the individual data values in descending order, clearly showing the contribution of each category. The line chart simultaneously displays the cumulative percentage total. The y-axis on the left corresponds to the values shown by the columns, while the y-axis on the right corresponds to the cumulative percentage shown by the line. The cumulative line ultimately reaches 100 percent, following the Pareto principle.

To create a Pareto chart, your Chart Builder must include at least one attribute and one measure.
