QR codes in Subsplash are dynamic, letting you change the URL at any time, and powered by Link items or the item the QR code is attached to.

Generate a QR Code

Start in your Dashboard by going to Library > Links. Here you will find all your preexisting Link items created for use in the app, but now their use has been expanded!

Click into a Link item, or opt to create a new one and save it with your desired URL to find the Share options on the right.

Every Link Item will have a QR code generated for it, click on QR code to expose it and Download it to share and include in communications or print outs.

From here this QR code will open the URL input into the Link item, and that URL can change at any time without needing to redownload your QR code, resend an email, or reprint physical items.

FAQs

Is there any sort of link tracking or analytics?

Not at the moment. We would be happy to hear your feedback around this to track demand!

Can I customize the color or resize the QR code?

Yes, but not via Subsplash. Once you download and save your QR code you can use any photo editing or graphic design software to modify your QR code. You can resize it, change the colors, etc then distribute as you need.

Can change the URL destination of an existing QR code?

Yes! Swap out the URL of the Link Item at any time to change the destination of the QR code dynamically.

Where are my QR codes saved?

The QR code is attached to the link item and can be found at any time by revisiting that Link item in your Dashboard. If the Link Item is deleted, the QR code will no longer function.
