Most tabs are designed to display a certain type of content: the Events tab displays calendar events and the Media tab is home to your media archives. But what if you want to do something more complex, like a home tab that features events and media? Look no further than the Build Your Own tab.

A Build Your Own tab called "Resources" and another called "Home"

Create a Build Your Own Tab:

  • From Apps > Mobile App, click Manage Tabs and Add Tab.

  • Choose Build Your Own.

  • Give the tab a title and select an icon.

  • This will create a new list for this tab in your Library, but you can select an existing list in the tab options to power your new Build Your Own Tab. It can be helpful to give the list the same name as your tab.

Adding Content to a Build Your Own Tab:

  • Create content for your Build Your Own tab.

    • You can add nested lists to your Build Your Own tab by creating additional lists and adding them to your Build Your Own list.

    • To add items (such as Subsplash Giving or a sermon) directly to your Build Your Own tab, navigate to your list and select Add Item. Or, you can create each item through the Library and add them to your Build your Own tab list later.
