There are a number of ways to add Subsplash Giving to your app, or your website! Below you'll find a list of steps needed to get your congregations access to Subsplash Giving.

Externally linking to Subsplash Giving

The most common way to add Subsplash Giving to your website is to add a link that takes your donors from your website directly to your standalone Subsplash Giving link.

To find your standalone link:

  • Log into the Subsplash Giving Dashboard and navigate to Settings > General

  • Copy your Standalone Link for Subsplash Giving

  • Use this link in your menu or a button on your website

Embedding Subsplash Giving

If you are not using SnapPages, embedding Subsplash Giving is still possible!

Warning! We strongly recommend securing the website with SSL. (you’ll see https:// instead of http:// in the URL bar). This ensures your donors’ information is kept safe. To learn more about securing your website, check out How do I secure my website with SSL for Subsplash Giving?

In most embedding instances, the pre-made iFrame Embed Code will be the best bet! The iFrame Embed Code can be found in the Giving Dashboard and the App Dashboard.

  • Navigate to Settings > General > Basic Giving Links and select iFrame Embed under Type.

  • Copy the link provided and paste it into an Embed option for your website builder. This option will display the giving interface as a widget.

  • Additionally, you can customize the default fund, amount, and frequency. Use the Custom Link Generator to set these parameters; select iFrame Embed for Type and generate your new link.

From the App Dashboard

  • Head to Web > Embeds > Preview Embed under Giving > and select Copy

  • Paste the iFrame Embed Code into the Embed option for your website builder

Note! Often times templated website builders like Wix.com will require you to simply enter a URL when embedding Subsplash Giving since they've already included their own iFrame coding in their embedding option. In this case, we recommend using the Embed Link found just under your Standalone Link. This link has been stripped of Subsplash branding to make sure it works with your website builder.

Some website builders such as Wix.com, include their own iFrame coding. Therefore, enter the Embed Link.
