How to setup your Kiosk Device on an iPad.

Set up your Kiosk Devices

If you’ve got your printer and iPad connected to Wi-Fi, then you’re ready to begin setting up your Check-in Kiosks! Follow the instructions below to get started:

  1. Navigate to your Dashboard and select Events > Check-in > Set up a new device. You can go there directly by clicking here.

  2. Scan the QR code using your iPad’s camera or select “Use setup code” to manually enter a one-time setup code.

    📱 Scanning a QR code on your iPad will automatically direct you to download the Subsplash Check-in App and log you in when you open the app.

    If you’re using a setup code, you can download the app manually by following the “More options” steps.

Follow the setup pages to:

  1. Select a Kiosk Type

Connect a printer

Make sure you enable push notifications to ensure that printing works as intended.

Once you’ve selected your Kiosk Type and printer, you’ll be taken to a settings page that will allow you to go back and change these settings at any time.

Once you’re ready to begin check-in, just select “Start check-in mode” on your device to get started.

You can navigate back to this page by selecting the gear icon on the top right corner of the screen. You’ll be prompted to enter your Kiosk Code, which can be found at the bottom of the Check-in page in your Subsplash Dashboard.
