Breeze / Tithl.ey no longer supports third-party API integrations for donation processing within Breeze for new customers. Customers with an established integration will continue to be supported by Breeze for the time being. As Breeze makes further decisions on the longevity of supported API Integrations, they will communicate directly with the customers affected. Subsplash asks for your grace and patience as we navigate this situation.

Creating an integration between Subsplash Giving and Breeze is, well, a breeze! This article will walk you through the process step by step.

Setting Up Your Integration

Do not create Sub-Funds or Campuses, as Breeze does not support those features. If you’ve already received gifts that are assigned to a campus or sub-fund, let us know so we can make sure you’re set up to succeed moving forward.

Step 1: Create your funds in Subsplash Giving

Add the Breeze funds that you plan on using for Subsplash Giving (SSG) to the Funds section of the Giving Dashboard. This is very important to ensure a seamless sync experience across systems.

More information on how to do so can be found in our Funds article .

Step 2: Get your API Key from Breeze

Log into your Breeze account, click the gear icon located on the top navigation bar, and then click "Manage Account."

Then, click on the "More" button located at the bottom of the left side menu to reveal the API Key option. Copy that key!

Paste your Breeze API key into the field provided in the Subsplash Giving Dashboard within Integrations > Breeze.

Step 3: Get your Web Address

In the Breeze Dashboard, back on the "Account Settings" page, click on the "General Settings" section. From here, copy the text in the field labeled “Web Address.” Copy over both pieces of the web address.

Paste your Web Address into the field provided in the Subsplash Giving Dashboard. Be sure that your web address ends in “.breezechms.com”. Click “Save.”

Step 4: Let it sync

Your integration is now live and syncing will begin! Depending on the amount of data you will be syncing, you can expect a wait time of around 45 minutes for a full sync. Future syncs will take much less time due to less data.

Managing Your Integration

Matching Members

If one of your members used a nickname or a different email address instead of the information they are using in Breeze, you'll need to manually match them up. Don't worry, we've made matching member profiles easy. With one click you can link the two accounts and you'll never have to worry about linking them again.

If your Integrations section is flagged, there may be members that need to be matched.

Here we can see that there is an issue with one of your donors. Click on Members.

You'll see a Manual Link Required flag on any members that need to be synced. Click on the unsynced member.

You can search your Breeze database for your donor to find the correct match. Click on the name to match.

Tip! Searching by last name is sometimes the quickest way to find the member, or click on Deep Search to search by alternative names and email addresses.

When you find the correct donor account in Breeze, click on Link.

Adding Members to Breeze

However, if you have done a Deep Search and the donor is not found, the donor may not exist in Breeze. Click on Add to Breeze, which will create the donor account in the other system.

Alternatively, the donor could have duplicate accounts in Subsplash Giving. Check out this article on How Do I Merge Donors to learn more.

Linking Funds

You may need to link funds, especially if they are newly created. You can't add funds to Breeze via Subsplash Giving.

Tip! If you want to add a new fund, do so in Breeze first.

Go to Integrations > Breeze > Funds.

Below we can see that the General fund has a gray link icon, indicating that that fund has been linked. The Missions fund has yet to be linked, but there are not any donations that have come into that fund yet. It's recommended to link up all your funds regardless if donations have been made.

The Kid's Ministry fund is requiring a manual link. Click on the fund.

Click on the fund that matches. If you just created a new fund, click on Refresh Funds to update the list.

Unsynced Transactions

If you have matched your members and funds, and still have unsynced transactions, you can try running a force sync.

Sometimes for unknown reasons, the integration needs a little push. Within the Integrations > Breeze section, hold down the shift key and click Force Sync.

Give it about 10-15 minutes and refresh the web page.
