Why is my iOS App no longer in the App Store?
One of the main reasons that an app is no longer in the App Store is due to an expired Apple Developer account. Every Apple Developer account needs to be renewed each year and if it is not, the app will be removed from the App Store.
If your app isn't available in the App Store, please start by going to your Apple Developer account and checking to see if your account needs to be renewed. There will be a banner along the top of the screen if your account needs to be renewed. If you need help renewing your account, please reach out to Apple directly here.
If you don't see any banner and your app is no longer available in the App Store, please contact the Subsplash Support team as soon as possible here.
Note! If your app is removed from the App Store due to your Apple Developer Program membership expiring, it may take up to 24 hours for your app to return to the App Store after you renew your membership. Please contact Apple here if you have any questions.
Why is my app live for Apple & Amazon, but not Android?
If you’re reading this article, you’ve probably been recently notified that your app is live across the different platforms. Congratulations! With a brand new app, you might have some Android users finding no results in the Google Play Store. Don’t worry, your app is still live! Google’s search algorithm for apps has a lot of factors at play which includes the number of downloads. A brand new app will not populate in the Play Store’s search results right away, but within a few days and with a few more downloads you should start finding it more easily searchable. In the meantime, you can use the share link you were provided in your Live App email to your App Promotion Page.
Tip! If you can’t locate your app promotion page, just log into your Subsplash dashboard and head to Builder > Web App. Make sure the App section is toggled on, then click View on Web to the right of your screen to open up your share page.
