This step is only required for those with apps that already live with Subsplash. If you are a brand-new client, no need to request a transfer.
Apple
Once you have set up your Apple developer account and Subsplash has been invited as an admin in App Store Connect, we can transfer your app from our developer account to yours. Follow the steps below to get started!
Requesting a transfer
Go to your Apple Developer account and locate your Team Name, Team Agent Apple ID, and Team ID.
Submit the previously mentioned info to the Developer Accounts page in your Subsplash Dashboard:
Don't know your Subsplash App Key? Click here!
Once we’ve verified the invitation and received your Team Name, Apple ID, and Team ID, we will initiate the app transfer from our account to yours. You will be notified by App Store Connect that the transfer request is waiting to be approved.
Accepting the transfer
Once you’ve received notice of the transfer, go to the Agreements, Tax, and Banking section of App Store Connect. To accept the app transfer, you will need to fill out a form with some of your organization's info.
Aside from the three URL's below, this form should reflect your organization's information, not Subsplash's.
Support URL: https://subsplash.as.me/support
Marketing URL: http://www.subsplash.com
Privacy URL (If needed): https://subsplash.com/legal/privacy
The app now lives on your developer account and we can manage it from here on out. At this point, if you need/want an app update, fill out the App Update Request form and we will begin that process.
In recent years, Google Play now requires organizations to have their own developer accounts and more importantly to host their apps in their developer account. If you are a newer client this will not apply to you as developer accounts are a requirement to get your app live. If you are a tenured client, Google Play still requires a developer account so we ask that steps 1-4 in this support article are completed first. Then since the app still resides on Subsplash's Google Play developer account, please submit a ticket to us to request the apps transfer.
Again, unless you have completed the steps in this support article, you do not submit a transfer request.
Due to high transfer request volumes and limitations on Google's end, it may take multiple months to get your app transferred to your Google Play developer account. Rest assured, this does not hinder our ability to support your app!
Blocked Transfer?
Occasionally an app transfer to Google Play can be blocked for two primary reasons. While Google does not provide specific information as to what the error is, this will either be due to an incorrect Account Owner Email Address or Order ID.
You will want to ensure that the information entered in your App Dashboard > Settings > Developer Accounts > Google Play Developer page in the Dashboard matches the information on your Google Play Console account.
If you need help locating your Order ID, Google has a section in their app transfer article to assist you: Transfer apps to a different developer account.
If your Order ID looks different from the current standard format PDS.1234-5678-9012-3456 see our article here.
Once you have ensured the information matches, please reply to the notification email you received to get in touch with our support team.
For new clients who have an existing app
If you are a new client with Subsplash and you have an existing iOS app that you want to be updated in order to convert it into your Subsplash app, you will need to make sure that your app is on your own Apple developer account.
If you need to set up your own Apple developer account, check out How do I set up my Apple developer account?
Once your developer account is set up, you will need to have your previous developer transfer the app to your account. The same steps from above apply here, but for Step 1 you will also need to send your Apple ID and Team ID to your old developer so they can initiate the transfer.
Once you have your account and iOS app correctly situated and submitted to the App Store Info page, you’re all set! When you have passed the Subsplash app review, we will update your existing app.
Transferring your Apps to a different developer account
If your app is on your organizations developer account but you need to transfer the app to a new developer account you can follow these guides from Apple and Google.
