What is GrowCurve and How is it Calculated?
Think of GrowCurve as a rebate! In a traditional store setting, the purchaser pays full price for a good or service and later receives money back from the company, effectively lowering the cost of the good or service. Likewise, your donors will still be subject to the same processing rate; however, the rebate is issued to your organization, effectively lowering the processing rate the organization was subject to.
GrowCurve is calculated monthly and issued quarterly. The amount of GrowCurve is based on a unique formula primarily based on the volume of gifts processed. Therefore, as the volume of gifts processed increases, the GrowCurve can as well.
The GrowCurve calculation does not take into account donations where the donor covered the fee. Additionally, GrowCurve is only calculated using charitable transactions.
Does GrowCurve Change the Processing Rate Each Month?
No, as stated above, the processing rate will remain the same; however, the potential GrowCurve can change each month, essentially lowering the processing rate.
Can We Qualify for GrowCurve in Some Months But Not in Others?
Yes, because giving fluctuates each month, your organization may qualify for GrowCurve one month but not the other.
When Will We Receive the GrowCurve Credit?
Subsplash issues GrowCurve on a quarterly cycle. You will receive your GrowCurve credits about 45 days after the quarter ends. This allows time for our calculations, processing times, and any adjustments to gifts to be finalized. The GrowCurve credits are paid out alongside your charitable and non-charitable funds. If GrowCurve credits are issued, a new Adjustment Balance section will be added to the transfer report found in the Transfers section of your Dashboard.
How will I know when the GrowCurve Credit is issued?
You will receive an email with information about the credits. Additionally, as mentioned above, it will appear in the transfer report it is credited to, making reconciliation easy for your bookkeeper!
You can view the estimated GrowCurve credits for a specific date range in your Analytics and Reporting section under More Analytics>Savings & rates
If I cancel service with Subsplash Giving, will I still get a GrowCurve Credit 45 days after the quarter ends?
This depends. You will only receive the GrowCurve credit if there was Giving activity during that quarter.
