Larix is an app available on both iOS and Android devices that allows you to stream directly from your phone. This is a great option when you need to be untethered when streaming!

A subscription is required to access SRT streaming within Larix, and to stream for longer than 30 minutes.

Also, since Larix runs on mobile devices, it is much more difficult to hardwire into your local network, which may result in more disruptions to your stream. If you need a similar encoding solution, with more stability, check out our article on Remote Streaming with OBS!

Requirements

  • Larix Encoder app

  • Access to the Subsplash Dashboard

  • A text editor
