When you create or view a Board, you may want to filter the visualizations to focus on the data that is most relevant to your specific role. However, you may not want a single filter to apply to every object on the page. You can apply Board filters to specific visualizations using the Configure filters modal.
To learn more about general filtering, please refer to our guides on Board filters and Linked Board filters.
Configure selective filters
Navigate to the Board you would like to filter, or create a new Board.
Select the Edit button at the upper right of the Board.
In the top menu bar, select Filter. If you have already created the filter you would like to modify, select the filter in the filters bar below the Board name and proceed to step 6.
In the Add filters side panel, you will see a list of columns. Select the column you would like to selectively filter on.
Specify the values you wish to include or exclude, if you have not already done so.
Select Applicable to from the side menu. From here, you can select or unselect entire tabs or choose specific visualizations. You can also use the search bar to find a specific visualization.
βSelect Apply. Trends AI will apply the filter only to the specific visualizations and tabs you selected.
Select Save in the top right.
