A simple communication plan to help you with your Subsplash Giving migration!

This process will help you switch your existing recurring givers to Subsplash Giving. The end result will be a more streamlined giving solution that helps you maximize donations and minimize costs. The best way to make a transition like this is to let an expert walk you through it. If you have any questions feel free to schedule a call with your CSM today!

Determining Your Launch Date 🚀

Your launch date will simply be the date when you step away from your current provider. This is the date you will share with your members in the following email templates. We recommend beginning the Giving Migration by sending Email #1 60 days before disabling your current provider!

Suggested Timeline

Week 1

  • Enable Subsplash Giving on your website alongside your current giving provider (if applicable)

  • Set up Text to Give, learn how in Setting Up and Using Text to Give

  • Allow your Giving Managers to become familiar with the Subsplash Dashboard and the giving process so that they can adequately assist your donors

Week 2

  • Send Email #1 to all of your Church attendees

  • Announce Subsplash Giving from the stage (Show the Subsplash Giving promo video)

  • Touch base with welcome desk volunteers so they’re prepared to help people download and give through the app

  • Midweek: Send a Push Notification with our Subsplash Giving promo video

    • Push Notification: Fuel the mission! Simple, fast, secure giving, right in our church app. Download the app and check it out!

Week 3

  • Send Email #2 to all recurring donors using your previous giving provider

  • Announce it from the stage (show the Subsplash Giving Promo Video or your Custom Giving Slides)

  • Midweek: Include a simple message about Subsplash Giving in your email newsletter or send a push notification:

    • Push Notification: You can now give online [hyperlink to your online giving] or through the app! It’s easy, fast, and secure. If you’re able, we also encourage you to set up recurring giving. Thank you!

Week 4

  • Send Email #3 to all of your Church attendees

  • Announce it from the stage (show the Subsplash Giving Promo Video or your Custom Giving Slides)

  • Midweek: Send a Push Notification:

    • Push Notification: Because of you, lives are being changed. Please consider making a gift today!

Week 5

  • Send Email #4 to all recurring donors using your previous giving provider

Week 6

  • Send Email #5 to all of your Church attendees

Week 7

  • Check how many donors still have recurring gifts set up with your previous giving provider. Depending on the size of the list, you may want to call each donor to follow up.

Week 8

  • Disable the previous giving provider

Subject: Action Needed by (Goal Date): We have changed our online giving provider!

Exciting news: we’ve moved from PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER to Subsplash! Online giving will be easier than ever and allow the church to save money. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership in ministry!

Since you have a recurring gift established with PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER, please sign up for Subsplash Giving and then cancel your account with PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER!

Please complete the 2 simple steps below by (2 weeks):

Step 2: Turn off your recurring giving in PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER: (LINK)

Subject: Action Needed by (Goal Date): Important changes to your recurring gift

We are following up with you regarding your recurring gift. Since we’ve moved from PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER to Subsplash Giving, we’re asking all recurring donors to switch to Subsplash Giving by (2 weeks).

Step 2: Turn off your recurring giving in PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER: (LINK)

  • Or, contact our church office and we can turn off your previous recurring gift for you.

Thanks for your support! By switching services, we are able to simplify giving, save costs, and put more of your donation toward fueling our mission. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Subject: Action Needed by (Goal Date): Set Up New Recurring Gift

Since we’ve recently switched our giving provider in order to make giving easier and save costs, we will be turning off the PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER.

Please complete the following by (2 weeks):

Step 2: Turn off your recurring giving in PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER: (LINK)

Subject: Action Needed: Update Your Giving by (Goal Date)

We will be turning off the PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER on INSERT DATE.

Our records indicate that you still have an active recurring gift on PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER account. If you intend to remain a recurring donor, we are asking you to please switch to Subsplash Giving by (INSERT DATE):

We will be turning off PREVIOUS GIVING PROVIDER on INSERT DATE. Following that date, your donations will no longer be able to be processed.
