Mega Menus

Mega Menus allows you to create rich, customized dropdown menus for your website navigation. This feature will enable you to override the current dropdown menu generated from sub-pages in the navigation menu with a more customized menu generated from a Page you designate.

Non-Mega Menu

Mega Menu

How It Works

1. First, create a new page that you want to use as a Mega Menu.

2. You can add whatever content you want, but it’s highly recommended that you use a single page section and keep the vertical height of the page reasonably small so users don’t have to scroll up and down to view the dropdown content. Also, try using a title that helps to identify this page being used for your Mega Menu, which can make locating the page for future edits easier. Ex. “Contact Menu” or “Contact MM"

3. Next, go to the Pages menu in the dashboard and edit the page settings of one of the top-level pages in the main Navigation folder (it can’t be a sub-page). In the settings menu, you will find a new “Mega Menu” toggle option that you will need to turn on.

4. After it’s toggled on, you will see a new button that allows you to select the page you want to use as the Mega Menu. Browse to the page you created in step 1.

5. Save Draft, or Publish your changes and preview your website. When a user hovers their mouse over that top-level navigation item, the Mega Menu will appear.

Column Dividers

It’s always been easy to add horizontal dividers because of how blocks stack on top of each other, but it’s been impossible to add vertical dividers. This feature allows you to turn on dividers so that the top-level columns in a page section will display vertical dividers between them. (Not compatible with nested columns) Column Dividers work well with Mega Menus to build a section with distinct horizontal segments.

How It Works

1. Select the “Section Options” button next to the Page Section you want to enable vertical column dividers on.

2. Toggle on the “Column Dividers” option.

3. Save Draft or Publish the changes.
