When you first open Chart Builder, Trends AI intelligently selects a data source for you to explore. The system typically prioritizes the most popular data source in the cluster available, but you can easily choose a different data source at any time.
Choosing a data source
Depending on how you are building your chart, there are two ways of choosing a data source.
Choosing a data source within the Chart Builder
On the left hand menu, select Charts
In the upper right corner, click + New Chart
To the left of the search bar, Click the name of the default data source (in this example, Giving).
The Select data source window appears. Click the desired data source and click Select.
Choosing a data source within AI Analysis
On the left hand menu, select AI Analysis
Directly above the search bar, Click the name of the default data source (in this example, Giving).
The Select data source window appears. Click the desired data source and click Select.
View and manage available a data sources
Available data sources can be found and holistically managed by selecting Data from the left-hand menu. Common data sets included by default are Giving or People. However, if you choose to import your own data it will be available in the same location.
