Getting started with Engiven
Collect Donation links from Engiven
You will receive two donation links, one for Crypto and the other for Stocks. Follow these steps to access your links within the Engiven portal:
In your Engiven Admin Portal, select Giving Widgets.
Click Show Button Code under Actions.
Under Widget URL, select Copy URL.
Adding Engiven to your Subsplash Giving
Once you have your Stock and Crypto links, you can add them directly to your Subsplash Giving experience through the Subsplash Dashboard. To add them, follow these steps:
Navigate to Giving > Settings in your dashboard.
Scroll down to "Stock donations" and "Cryptocurrency donations".
Paste the links for stock and cryptocurrency into the designated fields.
After pasting your links in, make sure to toggle your stock and cryptocurrency options on.
Adding Engiven to your website
Engiven portal overview
Before your account is fully verified and your stock or cryptocurrency donation options are live, you’ll have immediate access to your Engiven Admin Portal. Within the portal, you can track transactions, view reports, and customize settings such as donation receipts and branding.
There are a few areas within Engiven's portal to call out:
Dashboard: This will allow you to see donations over time and create custom reports.
Giving Reports: Export donation reports
Manage Fund: Add new funds or edit existing funds
Account Settings: Add new admins to your Engiven Portal and alter notification settings.
Manage Donation Receipts: Alter the receipts donors receive by adding your entity's logo and other information.
Support: This will connect you with Engiven's support team.
Giving Experience (Crypto & Stock)
Donating Crypto
Donors will have over 95 cryptocurrencies to choose from! After a donor selects a currency, they can view the converted total before submitting the transaction.
After a donor selects a currency, they can view the converted USD total before continuing. Engiven will direct the donor to complete the transaction through their preferred crypto wallet using a QR Code, public address, and the amount. After the individual completes the transaction through their crypto wallet, they will receive an emailed receipt from Engiven, including your entity's details (these details can be adjusted in the Engiven Admin Portal).
For crypto donations exceeding $5,000, Engiven's CPA handles the appraisal and generates the necessary 8283 tax form. To learn more about Engiven’s tax forms and appraisal process, click here.

Donating Stock
Through the Stock Giving Link, the donors can choose any publicly traded stock and choose a quantity of shares to donate! Once selected, they will be the necessary DTC information for initiating the transfer, either personally or through a broker, will be displayed and sent via email. Once the stock transfer is complete, the donor will receive an emailed receipt from Engiven, including your entity's details (these details can be adjusted in the Engiven Admin Portal).

Engiven Donations & Subsplash
Currently, there is not an automatic integration between Engiven and Subsplash for Tax Statement distribution. Donors will receive a transaction receipt from Engiven, however, they will not be automatically recorded within Subsplash.
If Subsplash is your primary system of record for donation tracking, you may manually record these transactions through the Batches tab of your Subsplash Giving dashboard.
