When a donor has multiple email addresses, they may create multiple giving accounts on accident. It becomes a problem when the first account the donor created is linked, but they are now using a new account, and transactions are not syncing. To re-align them, first find them in the Members list by searching by last or first name.
In this example, my donor has a Gmail and a Hotmail email address. This donor is now using the Hotmail account for all their future gifts and I’d like their online gifts to flow into the correct donor profile in my ChMS.
We can break the link and relink this donor to her Hotmail account. Click on the link icon.
You can then unlink the member and relink them with the appropriate account.
