Having trouble signing in to your Google Play Console account? Whether you've forgotten which email address is associated with your account, can't remember your password, or no longer have access to the email, this guide will help you determine your next steps.
Important: Google manages account sign-in, password recovery, and security verification. While Subsplash helps manage and maintain your app, we cannot reset your Google Account password or recover access on your behalf.
Step 1: Identify Your Google Play Console Email
If you're unsure which email address is associated with your Google Play Console account, you can check your Subsplash Dashboard.
Log in to your Subsplash Dashboard.
Navigate to Settings > Developer Accounts.
Select Google Play Console.
Locate the Account Owner Email listed in this section.
This is the email address your organization previously provided to Subsplash as the owner of its Google Play Console account.
Once you've identified the email, open an incognito window, then visit Google Play Console and attempt to sign in.
Important: Open the Google Play Console link in a private or incognito window to avoid being redirected to account creation. Do not create a new Google Play Console account. The goal is to regain access to your existing account.
Step 2: Having Trouble Signing In?
If you know the email address but have forgotten your password, cannot receive verification codes, or are otherwise unable to sign in, you'll need to work through Google's account recovery process.
Enter the email address associated with your Google Play Console account.
Follow Google's prompts to verify your identity.
If Google successfully verifies your account, follow the instructions to restore access.
Helpful tips:
Answer Google's verification questions as accurately as possible.
Try using a familiar device or location where you've previously signed in.
Incorrect guesses won't lock you out of the recovery process, and you can attempt recovery multiple times.
If you're having trouble, review Google's account recovery tips.
What If the Previous Account Owner Is No Longer With Our Organization?
If your Google Play Console account was created or managed by a former staff member or volunteer, we recommend checking with your organization's leadership or IT administrator to determine whether the associated email account can be recovered.
If your organization uses Google Workspace, your Workspace administrator may be able to help restore access to the email account. Otherwise, follow Google's official account recovery instructions.
Still Having Trouble?
If you've exhausted Google's recovery options and still cannot access your account, please review Google's sign-in troubleshooting guide.
Since Google manages account authentication and security, Subsplash cannot reset passwords, bypass verification requirements, or recover Google Accounts on your behalf.
If you've completed Google's recovery process and are still unable to access your Google Play Console, you can contact Subsplash Support. Our team can review your developer account status and help determine what options may be available for your app.
