Check-in Settings Page
The Check-in settings page allows you to utilize multiple different features in the Check-in kiosk. You can navigate to this page by clicking the cog wheel in the top right when on the Touch to check in screen, or the Search by email/phone number screen.
Happening now
This section shows any events that are currently open for check-in.
Volunteer Facing Check-in
Using the Happening now section, you are able to quickly search in an event for a household by name, email, or phone number of the user. Once you find them, you are able to check them in right there. Just select the household after searching for them, then you may be asked to confirm the household role of each person (Adult or Child). After this, you will be asked to select who is checking in, and if there are multiple sessions available for that person then you will be asked what session they should be checked into.
While on the Choose people to check in page, you are also able to make edits to some of the children's information. Just click the pencil icon next to the child's name and you can edit their Session, Allergies, and Care notes. You can also click into the pencil icon next to their name to edit more profile information including their Name, Gender, Birthdate, or Grade.
Manage a checked in child
Reprint child label
To reprint a child label, navigate to the active event in the Happening now section and then click into the session that the child is checked into. From here, click on the child and then click the Check out button.
Check out
To check out a child, navigate to the active event in the Happening now section and then click into the session that the child is checked into. From here, click on the child and then click the Check out button. The system will bring up the household of the child and you can select who all you would like to check out. You can see more information on the check out process here.
Send an emergency text message
To send an emergency text message to the child's listed contact, navigate to the active event in the Happening now section and then click into the session that the child is checked into. From here, click on the child and then click the text message bubble button to the right side of the child. The system will populate an automatic message that you can send, but you can also click into the text box and edit the message before sending. Recent & Upcoming Events
The Recent events section will show any events that occurred recently that had Check-in enabled, while the upcoming events section will show the events slated in the next 24 hours that currently have Check-in enabled.
