People Assistant - Using AI People Filtering

Written by Connor Stallings

What is AI People Filtering?

AI People Filtering, also called the People Assistant, lets you find the right people in your congregation using plain language instead of manually building filters. Just describe who you're looking for, and the People Assistant automatically translates your request into a filtered list.

How to use it

  1. Open the People list in your Subsplash dashboard.

  2. Click the People assistant button at the top of the list to open the AI side panel. The side panel stays open alongside your People list so you can see results as you search.

  3. Type a description of who you're looking for in natural language.

Example queries:

  • "Male members"

  • "Parents with children under 12"

  • "First-time donors in the last 6 months"

  • "Women over 40 who have been baptized"

  • "Recurring donors in zip code 98101"

The assistant will translate your request into a filter and apply it to your People list automatically.

Supported filters

The People Assistant can filter by:

  • Membership status

  • Age, birthday, gender, marital status

  • Baptism date

  • Adults with children, grade, child allergies, child care notes

  • City, state or province, ZIP code, country

  • Archived status

  • Giving history (including first-time and recurring donors)

  • Custom Profile Fields you have created

TIP: Be specific. The more detail you give, the more accurate your results. If a query doesn't return what you expected, try rephrasing or breaking it into simpler parts.

Saving filters

The ability to save filters is on our roadmap and not yet available. Stay tuned for updates!
