Charitable Gifts
One of the greatest advantages of processing your charitable gifts with Subsplash is the fact that we don't charge a single monthly or annual fee to use our service. Simply cover the processing fees, and you're good to go! Charitable gifts include any tithes, offerings, or donations given through Subsplash Giving. Your processing rates depend on your partnership tier.
Giving Only & Non-Exclusive Partnership
This tier applies if you utilize a Giving Only account or have a standard package without an Exclusive Partnership agreement. If you want to lower your rates by upgrading to an Exclusive Partnership, please contact your Client Success Manager! You can email them or schedule a call with them from the Home page of your Subsplash Dashboard. Processing rates for Giving Only and Non-Exclusive Partnerships are as follows:
Visa & Mastercard Credit/Debit Cards: 2.99% processing rate + $0.30 transaction fee
Premium Credit/Debit Cards (American Express, Discover, and others): 3.50% processing rate + $0.30 transaction fee
ACH (Bank Account): 1.00% processing rate + $0.00 transaction fee
Exclusive Partnership
This tier applies to ministries that have entered into an Exclusive Partnership agreement with Subsplash, unlocking even lower rates to fuel your mission.
Visa & Mastercard Credit/Debit Cards: 2.30% processing rate + $0.30 transaction fee
Premium Credit/Debit Cards (American Express, Discover, and others): 3.50% processing rate + $0.30 transaction fee
ACH (Bank Account): 1.00% processing rate + $0.00 transaction fee
Exclusive Partners also benefit from GrowCurve, our automated program that decreases your processing rates even further as your giving volume grows! We calculate and apply these volume-based rebates every quarter. For more information, please review our GrowCurve article.
Non-Charitable Payments
Subsplash Payments handles all non-charitable transactions across your platform. This includes things like paid events, camp registrations, merchandise, media sales, etc. Because these transactions are non-charitable, payment processors charge higher baseline fees, which are reflected in the standard rate below. These rates apply to all Subsplash Giving accounts:
Credit/Debit Cards (All Card Types): 3.50% processing rate + $0.30 transaction fee
At this time, ACH (bank account) transactions are not available for Event Registration or Payment Forms.
