Trends AI charts and tables support a large volume of data values, and you can easily see exactly how much of your data is currently being displayed.
High cardinality tables
Trends AI automatically loads the first 1,000 rows. The footer will state "Showing 1,000 of many rows," and scrolling to the bottom of the table will load more rows.
Once you reach the very bottom, the total row count will be displayed. If a table has fewer than 1,000 rows, the total count is displayed immediately.
Column summaries are unavailable for tables exceeding 15,000 rows.
High cardinality charts
Trends AI charts include several features to help you manage large datasets. When a chart contains a large number of values, a horizontal scroll bar will appear at the bottom. If you prefer to see your entire dataset at once, you can use the fit to screen option. To enable this:
Click the Display section on the sidebar menu
Select Fit to screen.
Using fit to screen allows you to view the full chart. You can return to the detailed, scrolled view at any time by unselecting this option. Enabling fit to screen will gray out the all labels option. You cannot display all labels in this mode unless the chart has few enough data points that it doesn't require a scroll bar.
The chart's legend is limited to 250 values. If you attempt to slice with color using a column with more than 250 values, the chart will not display. Instead, you will see an error message suggesting you use a filter to reduce the number of values:
Trends AI will also provide a warning if your search results contain too many data points, allowing you to filter your search for better clarity.
