Sharing a Board provides a live link that always reflects the most current version. When someone views a shared Board, they see the most recently saved updates and the latest data available.

You do not need to be the Board's owner to share it. Any user can share a Board based on their existing access levels.

You can share a Board from the list on the main Boards page, from the Board itself, or share a specific visualization within a Board.

Share from the Boards page

To share a Board from the main Boards page, follow these steps:

  1. Configure the Board to look as it must appear when you share it.

  2. If you edited the Board, save it before sharing.

  3. Click Boards on the bar at the top of your screen.

  4. Click Share to the right of the board.

You can also select the Board you want to share by clicking the empty checkbox, then clicking Share at the top.

  5. Specify permissions.

Specify permissions

  1. After you click the Share icon, the sharing dialog box appears.

  2. Click the drop-down to select the name of another Trends AI Administrator, or select your App Key to share with all dashboard users of the same role.

Configure the level of access by selecting from the dropdown list. You can select:

  • Select View to provide read-only access.

  • Select Edit to allow modification. Enables renaming or deleting the shared object. If a user with edit privileges modifies a shared object, the object saves their changes.
